Thank you again for taking the time to comment and feedback on our proposal for the Fox Covert Solar Farm.It hasn’t been easy to know if we have consulted in the right way, we would have much preferred to meet and greet you all in person and then be able to see for ourselves your enthusiasm for solar power, as our feedback has shown us (you can see more detail within the consultation report). However, due to the restrictions in place in regard to COVID-19, we were unable to do this.We have worked through all the comments received either through the post, email, telephone or online and have compiled the Consultation Report. You can now find this in the <a href="https://foxcovertsolarfarm.commonplace.is/schemes/proposals/key-project-documents/details">Key Project Documents</a> section of the Commonplace website if you would like to see how these comments have been considered as well as the overall statistics (click <a href="https://s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/commonplace-customer-assets/foxcovertsolarfarm/P20-0360%20Statement%20of%20Community%20Involvement%20-%20Final%2029.07.20.pdf">here</a> to access the document).It is of great interest to us that the overall sentiment is positive on the proposal. Where we have seen concerns arising, we have attempted to provide a better explanation of what we are seeking to achieve, for instance, with regards to having a Construction and Traffic Management Plan for construction, or the biodiversity improvements to the site. This is detailed further in the Consultation Report.We have chosen to now submit a planning application, the Consultation Report will be included in that application. This application should be available to view on the Buckinghamshire Council website in the near future where you can keep up to date and comment on it. We shall also continue to share periodic updates on this website as and when there is something significant to update.
